Animal Ambulance Service

Our Animal Ambulance is specifically designed to transport veterinary patients with care and comfort.  Our vehicle is registered with the DVLA as a Veterinary Ambulance, we are regulated by the Animal and Plant Health Agency and we hold a Type 1 Animal Transporter Authorisation from DEFRA. The vehicle is cleaned and disinfected  thoroughly after each journey. Our vehicle is maintained to the highest standards and we use up-to-date GPS technology to ensure we reach our destination in the quickest time possible.

Our vehicle is kitted out with the following essential equipment:Oxygen

  • ICU Oxygen Therapy Equipment
  • Veterinary Stretcher
  • Comprehensive First Aid Kit
  • Ramp
  • Microchip Scanner
  • Leads and Muzzles
  • Vet Bedding
  • Cooling Mat

We provide emergency ambulance transportation and veterinary referrals, as well as a standard pet taxi service.  We are based in Surrey and can provide local and national  transportation. Quotes are provided on an individual basis, factoring in service requested, distance, duration, day and time of day.

We hold insurance that enables us to transport the owner and/or veterinary professional with the patient.  If no-one is available to accompany the patient, we are able to transport the patient independently, acting as an agent, and sign any paperwork necessary.

Our ICU Oxygen Therapy Equipment consists of a Buster ICU Cage which is designed for oxygen therapy during transportation.  It is suitable for small-medium pets and keeps them safe and secure in an oxygenated environment for the duration of the journey.  For larger pets, a facemask can be used to provide oxygen during transportation.  It is important that the oxygen therapy is administered under the instruction and authority of the veterinary team at the point of pick up.
